Yep, I've been a fan on RT's site for a very long time! (Same screen name)

I finally drove the Jeep with the 35s, spacers, and got to the alignment place. But not without a bit of a scar. I now know the real meaning of DEATH WOBBLE. I was doing about 45mph and I was going down hill when I hit a bump. My steering wheel went from 12oclock to 6oclock about 2 times a second untill I slowed down to 15mph. The whole body and frame of the jeep was bouncing up and down. I thought the jeep itself was gonna fall appart. It only does it when Im driving down hill, or taking a sharp turn, then itll stop on its own sometimes when I stay at 45. Its the wierdest thing Ive ever had happen to me with a vehicle. Also after the alignment while going straight I can only turn the steering wheel to the right one turn. I can turn the Steering wheel to the left 5 to 6 times. So I readjusted my dranklink back to center with the steering wheel centered going straight and Imma get them to redo my alignment in that posistion. ....And the never ending story continues.

Today I went to get an alignment for the 2nd day in a row and my battle with death wobble has begun. Yesterday I went to get an alignment, and on the way there I got some SEARIOUS death wobble. . I also told them about the death wobble and they didnt have any answer. After they did the alignment I could only turn my steering wheel one turn to the right but I could turn it five times to the left. So I brought it back today and told them about that, and that it was Poping incredibly loud. When they would turn my steering wheel you could hear it across the shop it was so loud. Turns out where the tierod and draglink meet, it was smacking into my Quick dissconnect mounts. So now I have to get new mounts made tomorow. I put new bigger bolts in my steering components and smacked all the mounts up to pinch everything into place to try to get everything as snug as possible. Seemed to work pretty well... I hope. Im getting my rear trac bar relocation mount made tomorow and Imma see if I can get the lower trac bar mount cut so I can actually get a wrench in there. Well see how well everything works out.... And the never ending story continues.

Got something that actually made me smile like a kid in a candy store. An ARB air locker installed in the rear for 90 bucks.

Im currently working on getting my gastank skid to fit under the jeep. Got it for 40 bucks. Id continue the pics for u guys but I dont have anymore pic memory in my build thread.

Nice build Bro That thing must weigh a ton!! Love all the protection you got there. Makes ya wanna speed up Dougles pass in the middle of the night & see what jumps out in front of ys, lol.
Kinda scratched my head when you said the rim has a hole in it & that you fixed it with JB weld, lol but that stuff is amazing. The Jeep really turned out great Man.

You can post more pictures if you use a web hosting site like Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

Attaching the pics takes up server space.

TJ looks great. Does having the tubing wrap around in front of your tires hurt your approach angle?

OK, so I actually had a chance to wheel with Shiella yestersday. I learned a lot about this increadible Jeep & it's operator. The most alarming find was the fact that Ezaalycasaid1 is actually a beautiful Golden Retriever, and she handles that awesome jeep quite well!!

A great view of the countryside & the hard parts!!

Very nice Jeep Chad. Has a great time with you on the trail yesterday!! Thanks for not running over mine!!

Ive been working, and working on the jeep still. Got it back down to a 4" lift. Without a doubt the best move ive made since getting the rear locked. RIght now Im getting together all the tools I need to start bending pipe and doing gear swaps out here. Im tired of working in the oilfield and Im wanting to have a side job doing offroad stuff. Ive bought a welder, pipe bender, bearing press, etc, etc, so I can start soon. Been missing u on the trails man, we havent had someone with a standard to show us how its done in a while. Hopefully we can meet up soon for another run.

All this time & I never knew you had this build thread going!
Your Jeep is coming along great Chad, we will get together again in spring sometime & do some more trails. I have done some things to mine & Jarrod is changing axles so it will be all of us trying new stuff. I hope we can persuade Xman to come on some trails as well

Hi! You don't have to twist my arm too hard, lol.

Hey Chad, thanks for pulling my Son off the hill yesterday! Very nice of you. I made him try it again after you left. This time in 4x4, lol. He went right up & over it. Hope you guys had fun in the canyon, we sure did! L8R!
