Subscribed cause I want to see a writeup if youre doing one. I can definately see spending $250 and a few hours grinding to make one fit over spending near $1k for one thats made for it.

Still workin on pics.

Biggest complaint so far is getting the doors to shut without having to slam them. they fit extremely tight. may have to shave away a bit of the inside door frame.

trimming the front lip where the top meets the windshield wasnt too bad, literally have to shave off the entire hardtop weather stipping chanel. again, i'll get some pics up showing it.

i removed the windshield latches from my softtop and bolted them to the header on the hard top. kinda made a bit of a cracking noise. hopefully just bit of the fiberglass settling.

if you do this mod you will NOT be able to use the factory spare tire mount, as the spare will but right up to the latch handle of the hard top, making it kinda impossible to open the top. (you have to open the top hatch, then the tailgate)

hum...i dunno thats bout it for now, i'll work on pics, PM me with questions.

Probably less than half inch off the front lip. Kinda have to make it a concave shape. And like I said the entire weather striping channel

Looks great ,this is either going to make the older tops worth more, or jam up the guys selling TJ tops for a grand.

Just showing some of the gaps as I trim more off the front edge. Lots of sanding is yet to be done for paint. And just dressing up the grinded edges.
