The activation only requires a 12vdc power source to engage the coil. There is also a sensor that sends a signal back to the PCM to inform of "if" and "when" the locker actually engages. This controls the little diff lock light on the dash.
Hey, Thanks. All I am going to do is to run power thru toggle. I am not too worried about the light in the dash.
When I get all done, on one side of my jeep it will have sticker that says
