Rear control arms

Let me start off saying that I'm new to jeeping. I just bought a 2006 wrangler X with a 4 inch Teraflex lift, and 35 inch tires. The lift still has the stock rear control arms, both upper and lower. I was informed of this prior to purchasing the jeep. My first question is this: What will I gain with after market control arms in the rear? Second, what after market rear control arms would you recommend? What do adjustable control arms get me? How do I know how long to adjust them? Any help is appreciated.

I recommend the Teraflex Monster upper and Lower arms. You can reset pinion and caster to center the axle.

Go with Currie or Rokmen adjustable control arms. Buy the one the JJ's at both ends. JJ's will allow you to flex better because the rubber bushing will bind as it moves and not allow as much flex. They are going to run you about 500 for the rear and around 500 for the front.

In the rear the upper control arms adjust the pinion angle and the lower control will allow you to push the axle back. When the Jeep was listed the axle was pulled forward just a little. In other words the tire will be centered in the rear wheel well.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.
