Rocker guard / slider advice

I'm in the market for a rocker guard for my TJ and found the Olympic extreme reverse-a-bar on the Quadratec site.

Are these worth the $399. Cost and has anyone used Olympic products before? I'm looking at these to provide a lower step for the wife. Your thoughts????

I'd go with something more like JCR sliders or Metalcloak. Something like what posted will kill your clearance.

I just finished looking at the JCR website and can say Wow, I like their stuff! I appreciate the info. I looked at Metalcloak as well, but really like JCR's warranty. Have you used JCR products or know of anyone that has as I wonder about their durability?

I have front and rear bumpers as well as their sliders. They are great solid products. I've had them for about 6 months and they have been hit a few times with no issues.

I recently got new sliders and wanted a step for my wife. I went with the LOD sliders and am very happy. My wife likes them too. There are pics in my "garage".
