Now just create a few more and sell them on ebay for 150.00

Half the price, and three times profit.

Not sure what he used but Im going to use stainless carrage bolts and also from the inside add a piece of 1/8 or 1/4 by 2 the length to help support it.

It's 1/8" checker plate. Used 2 stock holes and drilled 2 new holes. Used 1/2-20 bolts to hold em on. Nothing special, but I'm proud of it.

Do those go under the body mounts or at least rap under a small amount?

You needed more patients. That lip that folds under is where all of the strength comes from. It looks good though.

Do you think that you will have any problems with water or dirty getting behind there, in between the diamond plate and the jeep.? Because that can cause rust quick.
Thats why i don't want to do that to my jeep, please let me no if that is an issue with you.

I have heard of people applying a gasket between the rocker and the body to prevent this. Another option I have read about is simply running a bead of silcone around the exposed edges and bolt holes to keep the water and dirt out. Just an idea

Silicone is a good way to trap moisture and dirt behind there too!

Rubicons come with a gasket, I popped mine off the other day, the tub looked like new behind them. A little dust and dirt, but no moisture had been trapped.
