Yes. 4 seater had a lot to due with it. I also wanted room for the two propane tanks behind the rear seat. Most of all I really don't care for the look when a rig is stretched and the back tires stick out way past the rear bumper. I like the look of having a wheel well even if it does nothing.

I hear ya, it's a good look. Puts it in the Unlimited tub look which is cool.

Added the BBC to my YJ model along with some headers and the front plate. The whole idea of modeling the Jeep is to see problems before fabrication. Well I have issues. I have found that my original plan to go with 18" travel ORI struts and set them up to use 6" up travel and 12" of down travel may not work that well. The up travel is going to be a problem with the front drive shaft hitting the oilpan. So I am going to 4" up and 14" down.

I also will need to lower my one-link skid to accommodate the monster gearbox.

I would also like to move the motor up. This may be difficult. I already will lift the body 2" and will not lift it any higher. I may cut the firewall and tranny tunnel and move them up. More to come on this.

The BBC is a bit longer and even tucked way back into the firewall I may need to stretch the front out to make room for the radiator.

Makes you wonder why. He was moving steadily along, then all of a sudden, it stopped. Divorce? Lost his job? Unfortunately, life sometimes throws you a curve ball, and it forces you to have to to make hard choices.

Yep. Tough choices. Lost my job. Needed to keep priorities in line.

Made out like a bandit selling the axles. Still have the motor and tranny. Hrmmmm?
