Banded up the Rocks and tucked them away in the shed. Had some unexpected bills and a trip to Moab in June. No spare change ATM.

After we get back from Moab I'll start ordering parts.

Looking through some pics on my laptop and found these from SEMA. I wish now I would have taken more of this rig.

Inner wheel bearing Timken 3994
Outer wheel bearing Timken 392
Race 3920

Still waiting for an answer on wether or not if you substitute the 3920 race on the inner with a 3926 that you will gain .125". Enough to clear the studs when you flip the spindle.

When the spindle gets flipped to narrow wms you have to flip the wheel studs. The backs of the studs will rub on steering knuckle. I could grind down the backs of the studs so they don't grind. However if I can move the spindle out by using a thicker race I will.

Chucks Trucks quoted me $1032 for two complete rebuild kits for my Rocks. I can get the bearings a bit cheaper locally but having a bit of trouble locating the correct seal part numbers.

Thanks IBB.

Shawn ground his wheel studs but then ended up flipping his spindles back. He was not sure about the larger cup either but agreed that IF it works it would be better. Now I just need someone to verify the larger cups work.

He is also going to get me some info on seals.

Well this build has taken a turn I knew would be coming. Stacy is not liking how much room my "stuff" is taking up in the four car garage. I had to move the Rocks to my partners shed until I return from Moab. The 1936 JD B, Tundra and Junior all have permanent residence in the garage. Stacy's Civic gets pushed outside when I am working.

So...What do I do this winter...Building a shop on my acreage has come up several times but we would like to move to the lake in the next few years.

This property came up for sale.North Iowa Realty Search Results 710 S. Pennsylvania #1 - Mason City

Mission Impossible is to convince my lovely wife.

Finished this up earlier today. 3D solid model of a YJ frame. After vacation I will be modeling the Rocks and adding them to the assembly. I will then be able to design link tabs and the four link.

I found some Rockwells 3D modeled on Pirate 4x4. This saved me a ton of time. They will need a little work but I like them. This is a 110" WB

grabcad.com is proving to be a great source. The models aren't exactly what I need but close enough so I only need to change a few things. 37" BFG's and Walker Evans Beadlocks.

Found a "Jeep" body on 3dcontentcentral.com. I had to do a lot of changes but it seems to be working now.

And Fox shocks on grabcad. Lots of detailing to do but you get the general idea.

It won't look quite so bad once the tires are the correct size. Those are 37" tires I will be running 49's. I can already see where my interference will happen in the rear shock mounts. I will also have to adjust wheel size to 20's.

Is 110" wheel base enough or should I stretch it a bit more? I could come out another 2"-3" in the front. I'll have to fix the wheel and tires first then see what it looks like.

I say stretch it as far as you can. 49" tires on a Jeep frame are going to need some room in between them to make the whole rig more stable. Your breakover angles will be awesome on that beast!

Well I stretched it to 112" wheel base and fixed the tires and rims. 49x16x20 IROKS on 20"x12" beadlockers. The WMS is very close to where I want to be.
