snow board rack

So I have been searching the forum/threads and looking for someone who has made their own snowboard rack for the back of their jeep to no avail. I have found some recommendations on different ones to buy but I am interested in a DIY project. Has anyone here built a snowboard rack for their jeep? I know I can't be the only one to want to attempt this. Let's hear some ideas!

I was thinking of buying muffler clamps bolting to rollbar behind front seats and weld brackets to them to hold my snowboard

i've built one that mounts to the hitch receiver. it holds two boards vertically and snugs up against the spare tire so if you use a locking receiver pin your board/boards stay put. here are some pics!

the holders are 7/16" round stock heated and bent then covered with 1/2" air hose. i used some rubbing alcohol to slide the hose on. my buddy called me on a thursday to go on saturday and i made this in about an hour. note: mark the hole for your receiver pin with your board attached to the carrier to ensure a snug fit.
