Stabalizer Bar

Has anyone fabbed their own stabilizer bar with disconnects, and how did it turn out?

I used the stock links on my "90" YJ. I drove the pins out of the swaybar with a big hammer, (while removed) then filed out some of the taper with a rat tail file. The nuts get replaced with washers & hitch pins go where the cotter pins were.

There was a thread on this board a while back, I think it was called "the cheapest sway bar discos ever" or something like that.
