My suggestion, drive it a couple weeks get to know it and think about your intended use do a little research (on the forum here is fine). In the mean time do a few cheap cosmetic mods to make it "yours". There are a number of threads on here describing cheap fun and creative mods that won't break the bank but really change the look/personality of the jeep. By then you should have an idea what direction you want to go. Having not seen your jeep a couple things that are common are removing the milk jugs (plastic ends on stock bumper, inexpensive set of fog or off-road lights, top prop for soft top, paint the fender flares if they are faded. Some like to paid the headlight bezels.

Tell us more about your jeep your intended purpose and a few pictures wouldn't hurt and we can give better advice.

Old Man Emu are probably the best suspension lifts. (I'm assuming thats whats you mean by suspension system.) I hear a lot of good things about Pro Comp and Rubicon Express and they're probably cheaper than OME. What year is your Jeep? As Iceman said drive it around a few weeks and maybe try some mild wheeling as is and see what holds you back and upgrade from there. Welcome to the board and welcome to your new addiction
