I like your stinger. Thats the one I wanted, but couldn't afford it, so I built my own. Here it is.

Looks like 2.5 inch spring lift coupled with a 2 inch shackle and 33's i cant tell if theres a body lift. Am I right vaultzz? If I am I'll feel like the man

I can't tell exactly what size the springs are they're so friggen old but yeah. Its a 2" shackle, probably a 2.5" spring, and then some moron threw a 3" body lift on it... (the tires don't come within a mile of the body at full flex) and they are 33's

So yeah, you are the man ...... unless you just opened my Jeep profile... I'm watching you

Main purpose of a stinger is to stop a forward rollover on a steep decent. Real stinger bars are alot longer that the one you have.

The only stinger I can see working is Vaultzz, the rest have Brush guards. This is the size you would need for it to be functional as an anti roll foward device. I've also seen stingers on the rear.... like a bee

The other thing that a stinger is good for is to protect the radiator during a rollover. The guys that I wheel with have had several rollovers and we havn't lost a radiator yet, "knock on wood".

Your fab work looks good!

I hope you don't mind me asking how much you paid for stinger bar's for your TJ's. They look very clean.

I paid 206 for it at four wheel parts. The reason I didn't buy or have a xl one made is because there is no need for one like that unless you have a built crawler. With only having a 4 inch lift it will still come in handy for forward rolls but mostly radiator protection in a rollover, and in case anything even needs to be moved it's all round a good purchase I think.
