Im really excited to see your build now because I just picked up the very same axles myself this weekend and a set of 36's on beadlocks. I got some stuff to do to them yet but they are already about 1/2 way there when I got them. Get some pics!

the hardest part so far is finding parts for them because i dont know the exact info on them, so many different versions of the 9" good luck!they are missing both the tags and the b.o.m.

you can identify your rearend by the spline count, axle length, and retainer plate...all of the center sections are the same, other than spline count, once you identify those items you should be able to purchase whatever parts you need at as constant of a rate as your credit card can handle

my 9" is an odd ball !!! it is 31 spline w/ a big bearing but small bolts in the retainer plate w/ 11" drum brakes, as for the 3rd member there are 2 different pinion seals had to cross my seal number , it is a nodular 3rd.no body around here could get the tapered set-20's so i got them from a web-sitebut now i am a full blown guru on the 9" lol!!

My 44 already had a sweet and VERY beefy custom truss on it. The 3rd actually have diff. bearing diameters too if you get a nod. case like you have (I got one too actually). At least thats what I gathered from what I was reading. I got most of the stuff I need already. The most pieced together thing I did so far was getting the stuff for my disc conversion on the 9".

i luckily have a very good friend that works a napa and rearend guy(as bad as that sounds) that specializes in building custom 9" racing rearends....i have the same rearend and he referred to it as "big bearing old style"....he said that is how all of the rearend guys refer to it......for the front end i am gonna recommend that you go with the moser max 44 front axles....i have been very happy with them and am yet to break one(jinx)...they are a little cheaper than superiors but i think they hold up nicely.....dont buy yukon.....we broke many sets of those before realizing that superior and moser are both superior to yukon

Haha, can it jake, we all know you built your own long arms Actually, my FT kit is slowly getting reworked here and there. The front is now a 3 link and my rear tri link was sold and its now going to be a triangulated 4 link rear. I think my "custom" FT long arms might give the flattietj special a run for its money

especially considering the fact that i havent replaced some of the original heims with flex joints and your ft kit probably all has nice rebuildable flex joints
