Taurus fan

I found a Ford Taurus electric fan and shroud for fourty bucks. I have read about this mod often. My question is has anyone done/doing this? Care to share some insight? Since I am using a cherokee motor with complete harness, I have the control/wire there, however I know the cherokee fan is thermostatically controlled to start at 275* I plan on installing the permacool thermoswitch to correct this. Anyone have photos to share?
