The best gear ratio

Have a 2012 wrangler jk 2 dr. I am planning a 2.5 in. lift and 33" tires. It has the 3.6 pentastar motor with the 6 spd tranny. It currently has 3:21 gears. I use it as a daily driver. What recommendations does anyone have for gears, 3:73,3:92,or 4:10?

I've never ever ever ever in 5 years of offroading and Jeep forums heard of 3.92's.. Do you ever plan on going to 35's?

Yes actually my Dakota has 3:92 gears from the factory. But to answer your question no I don't believe I will do a 35" tire.

I would say don't do anything until you have done your lift and tires then decide if you don't like your power loss's.. If you do then decide to regear I'd go to 4.10's.. Something tells me 4.56's would be to deep for highway uses in a JK with a 6 speed and the 3.6

Ok thank you. I was leaning toward 4:10s but wasn't sure if that would be overkill.

your welcome.. 4.10's is what has come on the JK Rubi's and they get 32 inch tires stock.. So 4.10's would suit you just fine
