Fantastic work man. Based on what I've read the 4cyl doesn't get much better mpg...so don't get your hopes up on that one.

another thing I was thinking about was to rape the other jeep for the lift tires and whatever else that I need. And then replace with the stuff I am taking off the Gray Jeep, then put up the other jeep for sale since it would be easier to sell a jeep w/ 125,000 miles than an old explorer w/ 187,000 miles

Not really much of an update, but I inally got pics with the doors on. They make the rest of the jeep look terrible becasue the doors were done good.

I used a Lincoln welder that ran off of 110 and used .030 wire

Thanks. I have been slacking lately, because I sold my Explorer then got a Ranger. So once the ranger is all set, the Jeep is goin under the tent. Going to do the master cylinder, rear main seal, the sending unit, windshield frame, then if I get the parts in time I will do the SOA lift.

This is the ranger that I am messing around with.

Its a 96, 2wd, stick, 4.0L v6, and only 118,000 miles.

decent up date, I just put a deposit on a 87 YJ that I am picking up tomorrow. Its got a new 4" lift, new 31" M/T tires body looks extremly good except for one spot at the drivers rear corner, which is banged up. So I am going to pilage pretty much everything. Gonna pick and choose through both jeeps to get the best parts. Not sure which frame I am going to use. As you can see by the pics the parts jeep has no engine/trans (used to be 4.2)

I know its kinda worthless without pics, but I got some TJ Flares to work with. Sold a few things and working on selling other stuff. And temporarily put the 31" BFG M/T's n black cragars on the grey jeep. It looks sexy now, and not retarded looking.

The plans for the new Jeep is to get the body work all smooth; this one is nicer to work with since It has pretty much NO RUST and one smallish area where there is a dent. I am gonna buy a DA-Sander to start cleaning the parts up. I want to do things right and the way I want on this one, not to just get it done and be alright. I am going to throw the 1" body lift on this one and put some 35's on and if there isnt enough room I am going to throw a set of 1" shackles on.

I am doing a CJ [jeep] tailgate and some round LED Tail lights. I Want to do some Dick Cepek rims but they're too common lately. I am going to take parts from the grey jeep and put it on the red one, take the motor/trans/case/electrical and dash out of the grey and into the red. I am going to get it painted a green like the new beetles are, I like the color
