tire carrier with options

i'm still working on this but it's a tire carrier with rack above the tire, jerry can holder and highlift jack holder. I'm working on getting the material for the bumper, hopefully will be done in a week or once i get more money to spend.

Looks like a great start, but wouldn't you want the rack part removable so you don't smack your head on it, easy enough to do with what i see lying around your workshop.
Keep us posted.

This is also the first thing i've ever fabricated from metal. It's not the straightest but it gives it character and i know that i did the whole thing.

doesn't look bad, I just made a back seat rack holder, ill post pics tomorrow. I designed it and had my dad weld it, but he ended up welding it a different way but it still ended up working. how did you make it lock on the bumper?

I used a hinge from rockstomper, and the latch is from mcmaster carr. I'm not to happy about the latch and I'm still looking for something better or better ideas

it's going to weigh a good bit the bumper alone weighs 45 pounds, 5in channel. Making the rack removable would be nice, but it seems like if it was removable it would rattle more or not. So with my new bumper i didn't space the bumper out far enough so now i have to remove the bottom hinge of my tailgate and the spacers for the OG spare tire. If it's not one thing it's another, i can't seem to get this thing on my jeep for good.
