Anyone know how to safely remove these? I am trying to pull off the fenders to sand them down and repaint them, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get these off without breaking them.
The hole was cut just big enough for the back of the light.
I have run into a bigger problem now. All of the hardware mounting the fenders are rusted and stripping out when I try to remove them. Looks like I'm going to have to drill out the bolts. They are hex on one side and 1/2 inch nut on the other.
Haven't had a chance to get to it. I just started getting the angry sparrow noise out of the front end. Having a problem pulling the front driveshaft out now. Every bolt on this rig is rusted to he'll. Liquid Wrench is gonna make a bundle off of me. The skid plates are stuck on there pretty good to.
Dang sorry to hear about your miss fortune just don't break one. I broke one removing the tow hitch before while putting on the new rear bumper and I broke 3 easy outs trying to remove the thing. Then it took me about an hour to drill it out....
