Upcoming project

I have a small project that I am planning out... (and hope this is the right forum subgroup)

Mounting Spare in other than stock location. I took out the back seat and plan on using the space for my spare.

Below is a rough google sketch of the 'bracket' i plan to build using square/rectangle steel tubing and ~1/4 flat stock. Using the holes and hardware for the seat mounting brackets, thus eliminating the need to cut/drill into the body and still allow me to remount the back seat if needed. The stock spare carrier will be turn face up and bolted to the new bracket. Unfortunately i was unable to draw that...

I am looking for feedback, suggestions, and similar ideas. Has anyone done anything similar? Ect..

Oh, and the tire being mounted is a 33x12.5 / R15

looks like it will work great. my biggest conern would be making sure that the tire is very secure. you dont need it flying around.

me and some friends built this, based off of my LOD xtreme bumper.
