Yellow TJ Build

I've been looking for a Wrangler for months and finally found this one last Sunday. I had originally been looking for low mileage stock jeeps, but couldn't pass this one up for the price. My wife and I drove 5 hours last Wednesday night after work, stayed the night and first thing in the morning picked it up.

Here is what it looked like when I stopped to fill it up the first time.

Pulled the hardtop off as soon as we got it home and drove it like that for the long weekend. After buying new bolts for my soft top I mounted it up.

Here is a shot of the interior. I'm hoping to find a factory seat bottom, but I'm not holding my breath.

I found the original build sheet in the glove box and it came with dual tops, fog lights, cruise, air, and Dana 44. This is going to be one of our summer toys and will be a slow build as I'm working on some house restorations and my s10 build. The first things on my list are repair bumpers, restore lights, stainless black hinges and clean up frame.

Mind share how much did it cost you? I'm still looking for the right jeep. Looks like less than 90k miles will be over $10k.

I looked forever. Anything like this was around 12k in my area. I got really lucky one night on Craigslist and the seller held it for me for a day since I had a bit of a drive to get it. I knew I found a great deal when I look at prices on my bumpers, winch, full doors, hardtop and tires. After you take off the retail price on those items (if I were to buy them new and install, not what they are worth now used) this jeep cost me next to nothing.

Thanks, she is a 2000. The fourth picture is at my wifes aunt and uncles farm, nice place.

I'm looking around right now trying to decide exactly what I want to do to it and am enjoying driving it around for the time being.
