And...... I know this isn't pirate but the description of the build thread seemed like there would be builds here not sticker and cb installs. I was there once but I didn't start build threads for them.... Smh

Alright I've got some new parts in. New griffin radiator, and materials to build my harness and plumb fuel cell. But as I've had more idle time I've decided to just go ahead and do one tons. Gonna wait a whole to 4 link and run kings. I have also decided to run Corbeau Baja ss seats front and a rear bench so everyone can be safe and comfy..

The pace of the build is changed. Gonna be starting cage work and mounting on the 700r4 and np205 then ill be working on the rear d60 I have. Gonna try like hell to find a front d60 in my price range by winter.

Going to also be changing seats to Corbeau Baja ss seats and 5 points. The cage will be pretty involved so ill try to do step by step.
I will be using 1 3/4 .120 wall Dom tubing

Where did you source your d60 (what model vehicle is it taken from)? Did you have to shorten its width? Going 8 lug?

That's a huge difference from when you started. Looking good. It takes a ton of work to get it to where you are at.

I know it's actually starting to come together.
I'm trying to round up the rest of my materials to build cage and get it going.

I gotta get my trans mounted and case then I can finish plumbing. I plan to get fuel cell buttoned up once I cut the floor and drop it 8 inches or so should make enough room for a cooler mount!

Looking good! I like your paint choice. Your dash looks great too!
Can you provide info about your motor mounts, and perhaps some pics? I bought the Advanced Adapters(weld-in) mounts after reading an article. They spoke highly of them, I am just uncertain where to properly place them. I also am concerned with them being only a cushion style mount vs. the standard GM mount, or even the rubber/poly bushing mounts that people fab.
Thanks

Thanks man I been trying to get more done and more updates but been very busy. My motor mounts are poly performance bolt in to frame. I suggest three options for location. One that's obvious is radiator clearance with that said it depends on what you plan to do for drive shafts I mounted my engine just behind center of axle and raised it up 2 inches. They make swap kits that make it all very easy to do just bolt in and minor fab. I don't have access to higher end fab tools like I use at work so at home I sometimes cut corners on making stuff pretty. For instance rather than go back and forth to metal brake and make the mounts I wanted for radiator I made square tube frame to tie In grill and fenders that radiator hangs from and sits on rubber isolator on square tube that fits bottom of griffin. When I mounted it I made sure I
Could run electric fan and belt driven while allowing room for shroud.
I would set your motor back a tad but keeping an eye on drive line lengths. Ill try and get some pictures for you soon.
