Yj hardtop to a tj

Anybody ever modify a YJ's hardtop to fit on a TJ? I know they're not the same header fit but would it work?

I don't think the doors and top would fit together. But I'm not really sure?

I'd sell that dude. Should get somewhere on one side of $400.

A TJ hard top is in the $700-$900 range so you are 1/2 way there.

Some where on here somebody described how it could be done. It involved grinding the top where it meets the windshield frame. Do a search and maybe you can find it.

Yes someone did do it i saw on another jeep forum how someone modded a top to fit on it and its damn near close.. small gap by the doors but not noticeable if your not looking for it.. do a search. I'\m thinkin about just for the hell of it trying it this summer with a cheap top.
