YJ / TJ hard door repair

The telltale rust where the window channel meets the door. I was going to look for nicer doors, but they are all 10-20 years old and look like mine. What are you doint to repair them other than "bondo and glass. Ideas??

Only good fix is to clean the paint off, stitch it up then repaint it
