yj tuck skid plate (discussion)
Ok I have toyed with the idea read all kinda things on the topic but I have seen only a few of them done por manufactured. I have a cnc plasma cutter at my desposal so I fugured I would make one. I have a few solidworks drawings but I can't come up with anything I like. I have definatly come up with the fact that ti is going to be a frame of dom tubing small in size, and just what ever we have around the shop. The transmission mount will also be a tube design. Utilising cheap and easy to find shackle bushings. It will be flat against the frame. Done know what size plate I'm going to use yet though. Find out if I can redrill the tcase to reclock it. (As not to add any length with a clocking ring). So I guess what I'm asking youu guys is if there are any problems that you see or if there are any better ideas out there?
