Billet Metallic Delays

Hey everyone! Just registered to get some feedback on my issue..

I'm from Moncton, New Brunswick, and I placed a deposit/order in the beginning of August on a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, with a Billet Metallic colour.

The dealership/Jeep customer care cannot give me ANY answers as to what is going on...

Anyone else experiencing delays this long in receiving their order?

Thanks

I should add that they claim it's because the Billet Metallic hasn't been released yet for painting.

Billet delay

I posted a while ago that I ordered a Sahara 2 door billet in mid-August and still don't know when I will receive it. If you check the U.S. forums you will note that there are lots of billet jeeps delivered there in 4 to 8 weeks. If you have been told that billet is not being used yet that appears to be the usual B.S..
It seems that we in Canada get the 2nd hand treatment.

I called IAMJEEP with my vin number (which dealer can give you once its in what they call 'production') and was told that mine went into production on Oct. 29th... further that does not mean it is actually been built yet though as it seems like sort of a preparation phase? Anyway was then told I should see it in 6 to 8 weeks further or more... so basically I am waiting 16 -18 weeks or more for this thing.
I added in my last post that the one saving grace is that my brother and neighbour friend where both about to order a couple of new jeeps, but backed off at the prospect of poor delivery service and are ordering other brand with a fresh build to deliver of 4 to 6 weeks so we will just do our wheeling with different brands...
Not sure this info. helps you at all..

It does.. as long as I'm not alone.

I ordered mine mid august as well, and still don't even have my VIN.

Ridiculous.
