My old Dad lives on Vancouver Island and we are in Port Moody. We visit him about 4 times a year and the 2 hour ferry ride get's pretty boring after the first 10 times. Plus the food on board is getting crazy expensive.
I bought one of those canvas coolers from Canadian Tire the other day. Sits in the rear and plugs into the accessory plug by the subwoofer. It works great. We use it for bringing home cold or frozen produce.
We had another trip planned so I made up some sandwiches, packed a couple of bottles of wine and put them in the cooler.
Once on board and the rest of the pack goes up and get's into the line up for a 10 dollar burger, I go in the back, pull out the chilled glasses, the chilled wine and our sandwiches. I also keep a couple of blankets in the back.
So here we are. The heated seats are on, the wines uncorked, we are snuggled under our blankets and with the 430 system, we can watch a movie in 5.1. I chose The Perfect Storm. A great boating flick.
What a cool way to pass some time. Before we new it, we were on the other side. Our Altitude ROCKS!!
Now I actually look forward to the ferry crossing.
I wonder if the inverter would run an air popcorn popper!! That would be a hoot!!
