For my current and last jeep, I picked up a set of oem 17" Moab rims off kijiji. Installed BFGoodrich winter slaloms, 265/70/17s
It's a relatively light tire, so no fuel economy hit. I also like the clean look of the smooth black sidewall, and quiet running. On my 2010 sport JKU, I dreaded putting the summers back on. ( they were the stock 17" Goodyear wranglers, hated them)

There is also this one.

Jeeps Canada - Jeep Forums - Dedicated to the fans of the Jeep Cherokee, TJ, CJ, Jeep Liberty and more!

I've heard bad things about the stock tires on our Jeeps but I guess it depends on how severe your winter is. Down here in Niagara our winters are pretty mild so I'm going to leave them on for now.

Can you still get in there? I drove by a few weekends ago and there were new signs and large concrete blocks on the left. It looked like possible access to the right but I didn't chance it. Have you been in there since the addition of the concrete? Would be great to know that it's still usable since I live 5 minutes from there.

Yep you still can as far as i know, i went in there for my first time with a few buddies on the 1st week of novmber. We went in over the slight hill to the right of the dead end street, it was my 1st time there so i didnt really notice concrete barriers, i was just so excited to get in there lol. Theres also another entrance u can pretty much drive into with any car really but u wont get far after that in a normal car. If your ever going id love to join ya, i wanna go wheelin everyday lol

We were there from 10am-2pm, alot longer than intended but my buddy was REALLY stuck so that ate up 3 hours. when we were heading out we saw a white jeep with some badge on it and a girl beside it at the entrance we came in so we took off to the other exit, as long as u dont get seen by buildings or cars on streeets/highways nearby you should be fine. We got kinda ballsy and were along the highway at times, but we didnt get any trouble from the girl she just watched us drive by and take off a different way lol.

Never been in the dirt myself, maybe we could meet up at the No Frills cruise nights on Sundays in the Falls or maybe the Friday night cruise at the Seaway Mall in Welland.
