I'm not sure what you consider near the T-dot, but we've got a group going to Parry Sound (Ardbeg) the weekend after Thanksgiving. It's about 2.5 hrs north.

Will you be able to Ardbeg with a stock Jeep? If no, I still may be able to attend cause im looking at a lift/tire/wheels as soon as I find a 4x4 shop that I can trust.

May be a bit challenging, but I'll never tell any body what they can or can't do...you just need to think first drive second.

As for off road shops there's just jeeps, rock spyder 4X4,and Saangs fab. I had a small mechanic shop in King City do mine...but the YJ's easy.

check out jeepkings.ca, those are the local guys that will really be a help.

Coke plant is one of if not the best places in sauga, it leads all the way into brampton on some trails. Runs across dixie too along the south side of the 407

I'm literally five minutes from the coke plant and I'd used to play there a lot when I had my first Jeep in '08 but I haven't been with the new Jeep because just after I got my Jeep I drove by and there were huge concrete blocks in front of the entrance to the left. Are you just driving over the small dirt hill and entering from the right now?

I drove past the coke plant on Tomken the other day...there is an open gate to a field that looked like it had tracks on it...is that one of the ins/outs ?

Also saw what looked like an abandoned suv down there...either stuck or broken down I guess.

Didn't have my jeep or else I may have ducked in there for a quick look.
