Yup most people are from Edmonton. The meetings and wing nights are here. But people from other parts come here. Like Cold Lake, Fort Mac etc. One guy coming from Slave Lake this Sunday to do a run! Lots of runs to the North and the mountains.
Cool! Looks like I got some updates to do on my jeep before I go to any of the trails according to the site ( which is not a bad thing at all ) I will have to take a rip up to Edmonton in the next couple months see if I can meet up with some members
Mike here from Georgetown . Picked up my first jeep a couple weeks ago. Thought about re selling it but changed my mind. Going wheeling this weekend in Mactier. Second off road excursion since i got flintstone mobile. ( gave it that name cause the beast has holes the size of basketballs in the floors. ) What year jeep do i have? It a 1990 wrangler with the little 2.5L engine. And a 5 speed tranny.
Picked this beast up to replace my ATV's. Dont plan on putting her on the road.
Howdy ya'll, Dave here just checking in from London been on the forums for a couple weeks just noticed we have our own Canuck forum... I'm a new jeeper (well almost new) I pick up my Jeep on saturday morning. It's a 2 door 2012 JK Sport crush with standard tranny, I got it with the 23S package and the 32" tire and wheel package. I'm looking forward to picking it up it's also my first vehicle thats on 4 wheels, I've been a motorcyclist up till now but this year I decided to get a year round vehicle and well what other vehicle gives the feeling of a motorcycle without being a motorcycle.
Hope some of the other London area folks can point me towards good parts stores and if there are any trails in the area, all my offroading has been on my mountain bike around lake fanshawe so I don't know of any trails for jeeps and the like.
Post some pic of your jeep...!! And now that you mentioned it... I use to ride my bike a lot for the last few years, but now that I have a Jeep, let say I lost 50% of interest because me Jeep... No regrets tho... Its so much fun riding my bike as driving my Jeep... The only thing I might miss is post nice pics and vids in my motorcycle websites...
