Hey everyone. I'm in Timmins and a new, first time Jeep owner. I will get my gecko pearl (or cactus green on the spec sheet) Sahara unlimited this Tuesday. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I can barely sleep.

Does anyone know of any Jeep or offroad groups around here?

Thank Stak Attack. I noticed the wave and find it really cool! I have had my Wrangler only a few days ago and already I feel that I'm part of a community.

Thanks Sinz, really wanting to take the hard top off this weekend with the nice weather, heard that it is pretty hard the first time. I did have the freedom top off today though.....oh what a blast it was, can only imagine going cabrio now.

Hi from Hamilton.
I have a crush Rubicon. Picked it up two weeks ago and have been smiling ever since. Found some local trails on YouTube.

Thanks ramboo. Next week, I'm leaving for a 13000 kms trip out West. Again, not sleeping much. I think I'm ready. I'm going to pack almost everything this Sunday to see if I'm missing something.

Checking in from Ottawa. Newbie getting my first Jeep, a Y2K TJ Sport, red, 147k on the odo and not a speck of rust. It will be in my driveway on Wednesday given that this is Canada Day.

1993 Wrangler (YJ) owner - had the Jeep for about two months and am itching to get it offroad! I see there's a few Ottawa-area Jeepers here. Know of any good trails to get started on? I know there's a few around Kemptville and have been fortunate enough to be taken down them with friends in their off-roaders. ^_^ PM me if you want to get muddy!

Hey everyone, I'm moving back to Ontario from Calgary the first week of august. I'll be loading up my '12 JKUS and driving back with a small cargo trailer in tow.

Welcome... I'm on a road trip right now and I can tell you that, sure the fuel consumption is higher than my old Equinox, but not by that much. I'm averaging 11,5 L/100kms, on the highway (although, I've been in the Rockies for more than a week). In the Northern prairies, which are not that flat, I saw a few trips in the mid 10s.

Bit higher consumption, but, much, much more fun!

Shoot me a message when you come through Thunder Bay ON and if you have time you can meet the local Jeep club for a coffee...
