I will second this.

The OF4WD is not an off road 4x4 club, but instead, an umbrella group who are focused on protecting and furthering the interests of 4x4 vehicle enthusiasts in Ontario. Ontario Federation of 4WD Recreationists

They work with the Ministry of Natural Resources and with municipalities.

They have mapped out quite a few trails near Bobcaygeon, with one leading pretty close to Bancroft.

Membership to OF4WD is $40. This membership will help to ensure that trails are open in Ontario for the use of licensed vehicles for years to come.

Another great resource is Jeepkings.ca
I appologize if mentioning this is not allowed; however there isn't much Canadian involvement on Wrangler Forum.
Don't go to JeepKings and ask where the trails are. That is what OF4WD is for. JeepKings will have people posting upcoming trail rides and you can tag along with them. It's a good way to learn trails and learn how to drive.

I was just in Windsor over Christmas and was commenting on how many Jeeps there are! They really are everywhere! Where do you go off-roading? I'm there a lot and sometimes looking for a place to play.

I like mud and rocks but I'm new at this so not very experienced. Just want to have fun and see what my Jeep can do.

I would stick to muddin then until you've done it a few times and you've fixed any unknown problems mud is forgiving rocks.. Well not so much.

2014 JKUR in toronto

Im from Toronto Ontario.
just picked up my 2014 JKUR on Tuesday.
already put 350Km on it in 5 days.
haven'g got a chance to take it wheelin yet.
i noticed Jeepers in downtown toronto are not as friendly as the surrounding cities.
i guess there are a lot of people that bought the JK but never bought into the the culture.
here's some pics.

The not-so-friendly JK owners I imagine are the ones using it as a poor-man's Mercedes G-wagen.

Question: moving to Ontario from Quebec in the next 6 months, my Jeep is originally from Orillia so I don't think I'll have a problem with the safety except for one thing... will disconnects pass? In Quebec they look at you crooked when you show up to inspection with discos but as we all know, Ontario is a more civilized society :P

I have 90 km on my odometer now and 45 of it was offroad!!!
I pick up my first Sahara on Wednesday and I live in Angus. Could you message me the directions to some trails.

Contact me for details as I understand this is not the appropriate area.
Just wanted to let the Canucks know first.

Half doors, especially in Canada, are rarer than unicorn's teeth :/ Good luck!

you can try a forum like Jeepkings.

I plan to get some aftermarket ones and have them painted to match my Jeep. Some people get so desperate that they fabricate their own or settle for tube doors.
