01 tj trans problems

3 speed trans wont shift unless it goes up to 3000 rpm and tudders heavly at take off if i give plenty of throttle, ive alredy changed trans fluid and filter (big mess) and replaced tps. do i need a new trans? or could it be the tire size (ive got a 3in lift with 33in/11in wide tires)? help me out plz...thanks

p.s. ive done some electric work but problem was there before..maybe more electric problems

thanks for the welcome.... i found a 01 auto trans for $450 with 81,000 so i geuss ill go ahead and install.

o' ya any one have a cheap soft top that live close to htown tx

i think i may have problem, im going to a just transmission bands just have to get a inch torqe wrench first. crossing my fingers toe and eyes ill let u know if it works p.s. im only going to do front then maybe back

i a justed the front and it helped a lot, but no cigar. it still grinded and wouldnt do more than 60.
so new trans it is...more than likely
