1st time Jeep owner here. Wish me luck!

My oldest son has been driving a Jeep for years. I always enjoyed riding with him and even spent 3 days helping him put in a lift kit. Some 5 hour job that was! Well after a bad accident then 3 weeks later a heart attack, I bought the first Jeep I could find that was some what reasonably priced. Towed it home and here I am. The PO even threw in a JD garden tractor. Let the fun begin.

Well come to the world of Jeep. Its an addiction of sorts and I love it. I grew up loving Jeeps but never bought one until I got divorced in 1999. I just bought my 3rd one yesterday so I am new here too. Looking forward to doing the "Jeep Thing" again. I loved my old wrangler, I drove it out to Oregon in2002, burned the engine and trany out of it but rebuilt it. I traded it off for a fast car just before going to Iraq in 2006. There truly is nothing like a jeep and it will give you heart ache and joy but it will always bring you happiness.
Best of luck, have fun, be safe.
oh, just bit of advice. never drive down a trail covered in water unless you have a buddy with you. besides Jeeping with a friend is much more fun.

Thanks everyone! I am going to start a thread on the repair of this thing. I kind of bought it sight unseen on a friends word. Duhhh.Frame is rotted, tub is rotted. BUT it has a good paint job. This will end up being a post every few days thread as it needs so much. And I like to take pictures. Thanks again for the welcome! On a side note and on edit. After cleaning up the fuel system on the Deere, It runs real well.
