50+ years of off roading

Been at this for 50+ years. First rig was a cutdown VW that I drove from San Diego to Anza Borrego, played in the sand and drove it back home. Charter member of TREAD LIGHTLY! and served two terms on the board of directors. Co-founder of the Telluride Rotary Club 4x4 Tour and did a byline column for FOUR WHEELER several years ago. I've had several Scramblers, a Cherokee plus a bunch of JK's and a couple of TJ's. Just bought a a '10 Sahara YJ. I'm of the opinion that driving skills plus a good set of tires will trump a boat load of accessories!
