91 yj

Hi new to wf, have a 91 yj, original owner, has 95000. In next week putting on a 4 inch suspension lift then gonna look for tires. This forum helped me choose the lift(rough country) saved 200$ on tuckaddons .com, $560 total for 4 inch lift, 2.2 suspension arm, spring bolts and four shock boots. Awsome right!, I know I'll be very happy once it's in. If any body has suggestions or advice that would be cool. Thanks

Welcome to WF. Sounds like you have BIG plans. Let's see some before and after pics when you're done.

Sounds Amazing! I have a 91 YJ and am putting in a 2" body lift next week and the 4" rough country lift in later in the fall (budget recently got cut due to some mechanical difficulties that needed fixin so the big lift has to wait). Question... Dont mean to hijack your thread but...

did you get a slip yoke eliminator with the price of your lift?? I was told that you need one to stop the vibrating of the drivetrain or something like that? Can anyone give me more detail?

the lift comes with a t case drop, which cuts down the angle quite a bit but also kills your clearance.. I don't think that kit comes with one, but I would suggest investing in an sye sometime

Thanks for the info. Yoke stop? Well another idea I didn't know about.(lol) I'll have to look into that too. Had the jeep a long time but until you decide to modify none of these puzzles are evident. Will take pics if before and after, people on this forum seem to know a lot and there jeeps are awsome. Thanks again
