Hi everyone, new hear and just wanted to share a few pics of my 01 wrangler. It's got a 4 inch rough country lift, Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels, Interco Trexus tires, Woody's custom CV drive shaft and an advance adapter slip yoke eliminator. I've only had it for about two months now so I haven't had alot of time to do much serious off roading. I've had two Jeeps in the past, I had a 1976 CJ-7, automiatc tranny with the Quadratrac system, that thing was just about unstopable. I also built a 1978 CJ-5 about ten years ago. That had 6 inches of lift, 35 inch tires, fiber glass body and a 360 cubic inch V8 with a three speed standard shift tranny. It was terrible off road but really got some looks on the street!!
I'm sure I'll be on this website alot cuz I plan on breakin LOTS of parts!! lol
Or she's really angry at Dad for getting that cool Jeep dirty!
Welcome, and awesome Jeep!
My wife and I decided to take her into our familys camp. It is a log cabin that was built almost a hundred years ago. It's about 7 miles of dirt road and two miles or some really fun trails way back in the beautiful Pennsylvania hills to get into the camp. When we finally got to the camp we got her out of the back seat and she was instantly mad and she said...'Daddy, you got your Jeep Jeep all dirty!' and started to cry, lol. She's my angel.
Thanks for all the kind words, I'm going to hand around for quite a while, I'll probly need lots of advice workin on this thing cuz it's my first coil spring jeep. I was real skeptical at first but I really like the ride and it seems real capable at this point. We only wheel on the weekends and that's ony when I have time so I probly won't break too many parts!!
