Hey everybody, I'm chef, aka Adam. Jerry brought my cause over here to help me win Shaffer's Diablo Sport Chassis giveaway on Pirate. I was treated really well by everyone here and appreciate all the help that was sent my way.
Anyways, I'm 25, live in SoCal and I've got a 94 YJ, soon to be buggyish thing. It's got a 4.0, spring over on a dana 30 and 8.8 with 4.88's, detroit rear and arb front. York based oba, a 5:1 atlas, cutting brakes plumped to each corner of the rear, and a home brew rollcage. Done all of the work myself, with the exception of the gearing, had to farm that out to a friend with a gear shop. Ten years of experience is worth a little pride lost in doing EVERYTHING by myself
I hacked off the rear end last summer and rebuilt everything to be a bit more purpose built. I enjoy crawling in Johnson Valley, so I wanted something built for that, rather then a full bodied street legal rig. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just wanted something that would surpass what I'd already built.
Here's a short video of me
and some pics
Welp...that's me, once again I appreciate all the help and look forward to posting here more whenever I can help
