I'm a college student with a '94 S, the perfect vehicle for me at the moment. I bought it myself a little over a year ago, fixed it up a bit, and I love it! I could, however, use some tips every now and then. It's really exciting to be on here, a whole community of Jeep lovers..really looking forward to it !
License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote.
OK here it goes, I'm a first time jeep owner it a 2002 TJ and I just bought it used and the old owner did some mods with 31" tires and Skyjacker shocks with no lift. 2" chrome tube bumpers and side rails, which I really hate. I just bought a winch mount, which had to be the one that had the rise in it to accommodate the tube bumper. I also bought a winch for the jeep, but its a small four thousand pound smittybuilt and I'm not impressed with it. What I want to do is build this jeep so I can use it for everyday driving and be able to off road on some jeep trails here in Ashland Kentucky. These trails are some what Rocky and steep with lots of mud. Some of the trails have large ruts from the guys with there trucks that have huge tire on them. The jeep has a 4.0 straight six and its an automatic trans. I don't have a huge budget, but I have about $2000 to spend before my wife kill's me. Any suggestions for me and links would be great. I would ad a picture, but I don't know how to put it in this tread. I tried but I got lost with URL. I'm just used to attaching to my email. LOL Thanks for the help.
