Another n00blet

Hey guys, I'm new here.

Hoping to get a new JK soon as I finish up college, figured I better figure a few things out before making that large a purchase, and this looks like a pretty good place to do it.

Welcome to the site. Depends on your income and plans for a Jeep whether the JK or TJ is best. (Noticed you are getting out of college soon) Buy a TJ and save some money for upgrades or buy one already built. I have been out with some stock JK's which do pretty good offroad but owners still get a bad case of I WANTS lol

Thanks. I just finished a huge long post in the JK forums with some more specific questions, but basically I'm not going to be using it for hardcore off-road duty and simply need something that will do well as a daily driver and handle any light trail, snow, gravel, and occasional woods that I might throw at it. The JK X seems like a good choice for that, since the new ones are bit nicer for daily driving...but like I said, I have bunches of questions

Welcome to WF! Unless you are interested, and have the talent to turn a wrench, buy the best that you can afford. You can't beat the Rubi! Remember, unless you are not exactly human, the more wheeling you do, the more you will want to do!
