Another newb saying hi

Hello fellow jeepers.

Wanted to take a minute to say I and introduce myself. I suppose that this should have been my first stop, but I had to post a question right away.

My name is Mike and I am joining you from Canada (more specifically Greater Toronto Area).

So I'll tell you guys why I am here.

I've been wheelin' in a 2001 Jeep TJ Sport since, well, since I drove it off the lot almost 13 years ago. I have not really done much to her be she did get new side steps, front bumper, winch kit, beefed up tires, and a deeper and cleaner sounding stereo system. She has been a good little ride but she is now starting to feel her age (about 200k on her) and although I am pretty good at doing the repairs (learned quite a few things along the way), I do not know it all and have come here to solicit help from those who are much more experienced at building and fixing their rides. Also, I would like to be able to offer solutions to those who may run into something that I have already fixed.

Finally, I'd like to find out more about those in the region who are avid jeepers and maybe find some decent places to go wheeling since most of the places I used to go have been destroyed by either urban sprawl or by people who ruined it for those who wish to go gently and leave the trail the way I found it (ex: don't leave trash around and don't rip apart the trails that we've been graciously permitted to use).

In closing, I look forward to hear and reading the advice of others and hopefully I can provide advice in turn.

Thanks,

Mike

Because this is the newbie check-in area, you may not get the answers you are looking for. I suggest you check out this forum area and post your questions there, I think you'll get a better response.
