Cool Another Newbie!

Hows it goin everyone.

The names Brian and I recently picked up my first Jeep.
'89 YJ 4.2 with some mods..

Im out in the Chicago Suburbs..

I plan on possibly doing some off roading but new tires are in order as well as some other things here and there..
But right now its a fun alternative to an ATV

Ill get more updated photos once the snow starts around here..

Also I didn't want to hijack my own thred but does anyone have any engine recomendations? I feel like mine is gonna go soon and my transmission is already suitable for a V8 swap

Check out Quadratec, they have kits for the installations of V-8's into your Jeep

I am planning on a chevy vortec out of a tahoe. I like chevy engines pers. for swapping. I have worked on LT-1 swaps but I have not done the vortec. Still waiting on trying to get a used computer for a good price.
