Aussie Mudder says g'day and help!

G'day, well after 5 years of driving a pretend 4WD [Dodge Nitro] i am looking at a new Wrangler Unlimited at the moment and after reading everything I think the Rubicon is the way to go but here come the but it is a bit over budget.

I go camping a lot with the kids and have rediscovered the bush that dad and I shared in his '64 landrover.

What I am now looking at is the Sport with the Mopar off road pack. This comes with heavy duty front bar and winch, rock rails, skid plate, swinging rear tyre carrier, snorkel, 2" lift kit, heavy duty rear bar and cat back exhaust system for $9,500.

I will also be getting larger tyres [33"] fitted at the dealer, BFG?

A question I have is, am I better off going to ARB and saying I have $10k what do you think I should fit?

What are your views on this?

Please note being a family man with a mortgage the potential to add anything of high dollar value within the next 5 years is non existent, I need it all done up front.

No worries and thanks, have always wanted a Wrangler since my dad's mate had an old CJ7 but the two door has always been too small for a family.

Welcome and enjoy the forum! It is all up to you. Make sure your dealer will cover the things on the Jeep and you should be o.k.

Front bar
Rock rails
2" lift

You could always sell them and get new ones sooner!
