Aussie newbie 1st JK 4wd TripHi guys fairly new to this forum just purchased this JK

Hi guys fairly new to this forum just purchased this JK a couple of weeks ago,
I have been 4 wheelin for most of my life and usually owned Toyotas and Nissans so this Jeep thing is all new to me
The truck is a CRD with arb lockers front and rear OME suspension
33" coopers If fitted trailer brakes, front bash plate a lockpick for the radio anderson plug and currently trying to set up a storage system for our fridge
Hope you enjoy the pics
Oh yeah its the wife's truck I just pay for it and do the work on it and occasionally get to drive it

There she is all nice and clean ready to rock and roll

The new AVE Bonnet looks the goods apparently the Jeep use to suffer from over heating and this bonnet is part of the solution

There she is the OME shocks are a fair bit firmer than the Koni's we had in the GU so still deciding on whether they will stay or go

She is a very pretty Jeep

She seems to articulate ok with the front sway bars disconnected

Girl and her new truck she loves that truck just not sure about me

Overall the Jeep went really well, will just take a fairly different driving style
She seems to have very little engine braking with the auto
She did skate around a bit yet is was greasy clay with road pressure tyres on as I forgot the compressor
Power wise in low range it seemed to be all or nothing once the turbo spooled up it was woo hoo hang on but if the turbo was off the boil it was just dead. I just need to be aware of it and make sure the turbo has some boost when you need it
It never stumbled once and climbed over everything we asked of it Both lockers worked really well yet both lines have leaks and the compressor under the seat(not set up to inflate tyres) worked pretty hard. Will look at the lines today and see if i can fix them.
The car felt really solid and very capable for its size.
We may look at different suspension packages later down the track but at the moment we will stick with the OME set up

Close but not quite It a bit further east up in the High country unfortunately the Dandenongs are too highly populated and has very limited off road driving access
