Auto vs Manual ?

Hello Everyone ! I'm not a Jeep Owner yet but I am really starting to get an itch for one. my question is what transmission to go with. I am a firefighter and paramedic so I have no doubt I will put it through its paces from time to time. I drive a standard ford f-150 on a regular daily basis so driving a manual is not a problem but my concern is low speeds and trail crawling and having to feather the clutch. I don't like to ride the clutch so this a big concern for me any advice would be helpful. I'm considering the Rubicon four door Thanks.
