I am in the process of buying an older TJ to play with. I had a YJ about 12 years ago but had to get rid of it for something more practical. I am finally able to spend some money and get a jeep as a second vehicle and have it just as a toy.
I spent a fair amount of time here just reading up and learning about things to look for and hints on purchasing a TJ so I wanted to say thanks for all your help with that process!
It looks like being patient and knowing some trouble spots to look for will pay off; I found a 97 that is really nice, even with high miles. Now I just have to wait for the title work from Kentucky and I can get my Jeep home, the wait is killing me though
