kinda broad question, is money a factor? just about any winch will fit, how often do you plan to use it?

at least an 8000lb winch, good rule of thumb is at least twice the weight of your vehicle. warn obviously are the best, but the other manufacturers are making large improvements to their products these days. ramsey, super winch and so on.

i'm no winch expert, but give a little more info on what you wanna do and someone here can give you all the info you need.

This month JP magazine has a cheap winch shootout. People with limited budgets should look at these. If you have more to spend, I would go with Warn. At least 8,000 lbs.

warn is the best (as dave said) but i have the superwinch LP8500 and i like it. it always works when i need it and take the abuse that i throw at it. my hubby has mile marker 9500 lb. on his commander and he likes it, that one can also take the abust that he throws at it.
