Bought my first jeep and could use some pointers

Well I have a 2000 TJ with the 4 banger. I grew up riding in jeeps and hunting out of them as a kid but I'm almost 20 now and decided to get my own. My last ride was an 05 power stroke on 10 inches and forties with a motor pushing around 600 horsepower. So the 6 inch skyjacker and 35 procomps feel a little strange but I like it a lot either way. Of course I'm used to something pretty fast so the jeep is going to feel slow, but is it normal for it to take awhile to get to speed and top out at only around 70-75? Bare with me, like I said I'm new to actually owning a jeep and driving somewhere besides a farm. Any advice or need to know things would be awesome. Thanks for reading guys!

Welcome Aboard! Depending on the axle ratio and considering you are running 35s, the answer is yes. Be sure to check out the TJ forum here: TJ Jeep Wrangler Forum - Jeep Wrangler Forum

Thanks guys! And yea the Jeep has definitely been a big change from the huge pickup but as a DD and a mud toy I enjoy it a lot. Also kindve noticed jeep guys always either stop and talk to you or wave as you drive by. Thought it was kinda cool
