Brand New Greenhorn

Hello all, Im new to the site as well as new to owning a Jeep. I recently purchased a 95 Rio grande with ac & a hard top, two things that are tough to get within my price range. Im a father of 4 and drive 42 miles one way to work. Just over $600 in gas a month on my 1500Hd 4x4. Finally racked up 5k in cash to buy a Jeep. My background consists of installer and shop manager for stereo and truck shops for over 15 years, yes i speak 12volt fluently, glad to help any way i can. I now do security systems integration, ip cams, access controls, etc. Ive always been into wheelin and offroad, nothing extreme, just deep sand when i fish and light trails. Used to have an 85 Toy and loved mudding, but when you drain chocolate milk out of the tranny and spend a grand to get it rebuilt, its hard to go back. Im lucky enough to live on 6 acres with a small pond and after some rain I'll load the boys up and get the truck dirty. Really like this Jeep guys!
