Checking in...Central CA - 1rst Jeep

I Purchased a 91 YJ this past Thanksgiving for a Hunting Rig for myself, my dad and my twin boyz. PO - had some damage to the driver side from an accident, so we have some tub repairs to take care of first on the list.

First time Jeep owner, and learning as I go....Luckily I have a few neighbors that are pretty hard core jeep'rs - CJ/YJ/TJ so I've been picking their brains on where to start.

I have already learned so much, just by reading posts on this site Looking forward to getting our Jeep into the machine I have envisioned it to be...Stay tuned for updates along the way.

You know you drive a TJ when you have the parts for the mod, the right tools for the job, a BFH & still need a Sawzall to get the job done!

Thanks Y'all - Got busy today since the weather was nice on tearing into a parts jeep that I picked up on Fri afternoon....kinda stumbled on it..... for our hunting rig.

As stated PO had an accident in the YJ before we acquired it. smacked on driver side, tub was pretty well beat up by someone trying to fix it themselves, I think they gave up.....We stumbled on the Jeep last Thanksgiving for a great price on CL.

So what is protocol when you start working on my Jeep so i can post photos and updates to what we are working on?

Got the dash, seats, any incidentals out of the parts jeep today - lucked out on the body mount bolts, everyone of them came out without and problems.....yes! So tub is of the parts frame and sitting in my driveway - wife loves it already.....going on about, You might be a redneck when......You get my drift.

Looking forward to the long slow process of getting it all in shape to swap out my damaged tub.

Let me know where i need to setup a build thread.
