Checking in from New Jersey

Hey everyone!

I've had Jeeps for most of my life but I finally got a Wrangler. I see that there is a forum dedicated to them so I figured I must join!

Talk with you guys in the threads

Later!

Weasy

She is now.
This is our first Jeep. I had a Dodge Ram and she had an 89 trans-am GTA. She liked the T-tops it had, but loves going top/door off.
She is a country girl at heart. When we met she had a full sized GMC Suburban, you know one if them Urban Assault trucks. LoL She likes looking down at rush hour traffic.

Oohh where to begin?

First let me say that there is nothing like a man and his Jeep on the open road.

The trip itself was an adventure of its own. It was pretty much smooth sailing from Jersey until I hit the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia.

Tennessee is undoubtedly the longest state to drive through though I must say its scenery had to of been the best.

Once I hit Arkansas, it got very isolated, very quick. Nothing but a highway traveling through no where. Quite possibly the most unpopulated region I've ever seen. The thought of breaking down in Arkansas was just terrifying but I had faith in the XJ.

It became apparent that I crossed the border to Texas from Arkansas as the road was well paved and buildings seemed to be inhabited. It was obvious which state had the money

Texas, a state in which I had never been, made me feel welcome. A smile on my face reigned supreme until I calculated how many miles it was until San Antonio

It's a beautiful state to drive through and once you hit Dallas, it's nothing but south.

That's pretty much the excursion in a nutshell. In fact, I can't even recall the drive back.
